Playita Rosada
La Parguera (Lajas), Puerto Rico
  • Natural Pool

Playa Rosada is a swimming pool created directly in the ocean by installing a wooden perimeter and a net that prevents access to algae and larger fish. Depending on the weather and time of the year, the color of the water can vary. Users are mainly locals and travelers who like to explore off the beaten tracks. During the winter months and on weekdays the swimming pool is uncrowded, if not empty; while during the summer holidays it fills up with people and families. Parking was $ 2 (I don't know if it still is). There's a picnic area.
Playa Rosada is open from 9am to 4pm, form Tuesday to Sunday (closed on Monday).
