D.L. Bliss Park is situated on the shores of the lake Tahoe and its waters are perfect to enjoy swimming or to relax on the beach.
People also practice kayak and paddle board.
I was there a few years ago and I really liked it.
The park is open only in summer and there's a fee to pay of 10$ per car entering the park.

In the summer months if you want to find parking you have to arrive much before noon. When the parking lot is full they no longer allow cars, but you can reach the park on foot.
Dogs are not allowed.
There are no toilets, bars or restaurants. Food and drink must be closed in special lockers so as not to attract bears.

Be careful not to attract bears with food.

The park is located on Highway 89.
