The Rio dei Briganti waterfall is located in the province of Florence, on the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, right on the border between the province of Bologna and that of Florence, in Moraduccio.
The river Santerno offers a series of wonderful places to escape from the summer heat wave that oppresses Emilia Romagna and Tuscany in the summer months. The River of the Brigands waterfall is a water jet more than 20 meters high, which flows into the crystal waters of the river natural pool. The place is full of other scenic pools and ideal for swimming: the water in the summer months, in fact, it is never freezing and the currents are not dangerous. In total silence, in these small regenerating oases, you will be pampered only by the sound of flowing water and the natural environment. This small town in the upper valley of Santerno is a destination for traditional picnic trips and rock walls.
